Thanksgiving Table Ideas

Thanksgiving is one of those holidays that is a must for pretty table décor. I adore the thought of family and friends gathering together and enjoying delicious meals. As a person who loves decorating and setting vibes to my gatherings, having a well put together tablescape really sets the tone for a cozy enjoyable feast.

Today I will be sharing some fun D.I.Y. ideas, printable items, craft ideas and tips tricks to impress this holiday season.

Are you ready ? Let’s go!

Choose a Color Theme:

Thanksgiving colors can always vary year to year. It all depends if you want to stick to the traditional colors or get more spontaneous and add other trending colors.

This year I wanted to keep my color scheme traditional. To begin I first looked for my table cloth (which ended up inspiring the entire color scheme for my set up.

Tip: Find the item you really like and want to use to have a starting place for your color scheme and stick to it!

You can find color palettes on Pinterest and Etsy that can help guide you if you need help with color combo recommendations.

I found Palm disposable plates from Amazon that I loved. Each plate is so unique and has different tones to it.

D.I.Y Painted Pumpkins

I’m all about the unique fun touches when creating and styling. Sometimes to achieve certain looks and or styles it requires a little “do it yourself “ work.

I am into simple and easy D.I.Y’s that are achievable to almost everyone. I used chalk paints from Auntie Tay. There’s so many to choose from but the ones I got were Harvest, Blushing and Terra Cotta.

I also used the chalk paint to create the color on our napkins. The wonderful thing about chalk paint is they are non-toxic water based paints. Once you wash them and heat set them they are good to go !

Check out my INSTAGRAM to see how I did it.

TIP: To add a more realistic, rustic look you can add tree stems to the top of your painted pumpkins.

I created this adorable Thankful Cards and other printable items that were custom designed for this party.

These are available for FREE to all Auntie Tay Crafty members. If you're a crafter, digital artist, t-shirt/mug maker her membership is a must !

Make sure to check it out. Membership starts at a low $8.00 per month.

MANTEL

I used the leaf file from Auntie Tay’s SVG files on her site and cut it using my Cricut machine to make the leaf garland.

I strung around the room. I used it on the mantle and on the bar cart.
