Essential Oil Make It & Take It Party
Essential oil parties are such a fun way to share wellness with friends and family! I recently started my own journey with Young Living essential oils and I cant stop raving about them.
I knew talking about them though was just not enough. I needed people to smell these!!
So, I decided to host a small make it and take it party so they can really experience it first hand. I not only wanted them to smell the essential oils, I wanted them to see how easy it is to create non-toxic products. Some of the fun d.i.y.’s I had them make were rollers, bath salts, fresh breath spray, pillow sprays and more.
The only Essential oils I will ever use are from YoungLiving.com.
The oils I wanted to focus on were all from their starter kit.
I created printable table signs of fun blends for different support that they can combine and make themselves.
To create the D.I.Y.’s, I added fractionated coconut oil to the table, empty spray bottles and rollers.
This made it easy for the girls to create their own blends that they desired. Everything I purchased was from Amazon. I’ll be linking all the details at the end of the post so make sure to stick around!
I pre-made a mixture of floral petal infused bath salt. To create this blend I purchased dried florals, Unscented Epsom salt and chunky Himalayan pink salt. In a blender I added the flower petals and blended it together.
Make sure not to blend too long you don’t want your petals turning into dust.
In a bowl, I added the Epsom and Himalayan salts together and topped it all off with the floral petals. I added wooden scoops so the girls can add them to the containers and top them off with their essential oil of choice. They were so beautiful and a hit at the party!
NINGXIA BAR
This deserves its own post I swear! If you haven’t had Ningxia then you are missing out!! I honestly even hate sharing (HA!) but, I had too. So let me quickly break it down about this famous drink that young living offers (not sponsored).
Ningxia is a wonderful drink and offers so much support to our immune system and bodies. This sweet and tangy drink’s formula includes wolfberry, which is highly know for its health benefits such as; support for energy levels, normal cellular function, and whole-body and normal eye health.
A daily shot of 2–4 ounces helps support overall wellness with powerful antioxidants.
Ningxia mocktails are so popular. I added my favorite drink chasers that guests can make their Ningxia infused drink. I always recommend sparkling drinks to go with the Ningxia. It just tastes soo good!
If you don’t like sparkling drinks you can add tangy/sweet drinks like orange juice, regular lemonade/limeade.
Vitality Oils
Young Living offers a vitality line of essential oils that are safe for consumption. I created this bar sign (see image above) that will be available in my Etsy Shop -SHOPSUGARPARTIESLA along with other printable items from this collection so you can recreate this party into yours!
Get Creative: Using your vitality essential oils you can make fun infused ice cubes. I used my King cube silicon mold and made lemon and lime infused ice cubes.
Pro Tip: When serving drinks containing or adding essential oils use glass only. Young Living essential oils are so potent and strong they will just eat through the plastic. All drinkware at my gathering including rollers, sprays and etc were all glass items.
Goodie Bags
Guests took home their goodies in these cute mini bags. I just love the smallest details. They really bring everything together.
